In December 2021, the Advisory Council participated in a holiday toy drive to provide toys to families in need within the community. Donations were collected for several months until the distribution event in December where MCSO Cadets help to hand out toys. This is an annual event that is coordinated with Desert Rat Offroad Centers, St Vincent De Paul, and Tuesday Morning stores.
This was a large turnout of families who received toys, bicycles, hot cocoa, snacks, and a familiar looking Santa.
