Every December, the MCSO Advisory Council comes together with local partners and volunteers to host our Annual Christmas Toy Drive — a heartfelt tradition that brings holiday cheer to families in need throughout our community.
This isn’t just about toys — it’s about hope, joy, and showing our neighbors they’re not alone.
For several months leading up to the holidays, we collect new, unwrapped toys, bikes, books, and games for children of all ages. Thanks to generous donors and community partners, we’re able to make the season brighter for hundreds of families.
Toy donations are accepted from October through early December.
We’re proud to coordinate this annual event in partnership with:
Desert Rat Offroad Centers
St. Vincent de Paul
Tuesday Morning stores
And, of course, our dedicated MCSO Cadets, who help distribute the gifts each year
In mid-December, families gather for a special Toy Distribution Day. It’s a festive celebration with:
Free toys and bikes for children
Hot cocoa and holiday treats
Community volunteers and uniformed deputies spreading good cheer
A special visit from Santa Claus himself
The smiles are unforgettable. The impact is lasting.
